INSEE Sanstha Portland Composite Cement
Sustainable High Performing Cement
INSEE SANSTHA PORTLAND COMPOSITE CEMENT is the result of years of research and development, engineered with INSEE's trademarked SmartAct™ Complex Organo-Mineral Technology. A unique superior blended cement with up to 35% clinker replaced with a composition of more than one cementitious mineral addition. Produced in two variants — ternary composition combining fly ash or slag with high-grade calcium carbonate. Undergoes THREE reactions (hydration, pozzolanic, and nucleation) versus OPC's one reaction, promoting refinement of the pore structure for denser, stronger, more durable concrete.
Key Features
- SmartAct™ Technology — THREE chemical reactions versus OPC's one, producing denser microstructure and higher strength and durability at every level of maturity.
- Higher Sulphate and Chloride Resistance — very dense microstructure and low porosity ideal for aggressive environments containing sulphate, salts and acids.
- Alkali Aggregate Reaction (AAR) Resistance — fly ash and slag bond chemically with soluble alkalis, preventing expansive gel formation and concrete deterioration.
- Mass Pouring — low heat of hydration at early age, highly recommended for mass concrete works and hot weather tropical conditions.
- Environmentally Friendly — up to 35% less clinker than OPC, significantly reducing CO2 emissions per tonne of cement produced.
- Superior Workability — spherical fly ash particles and finely blended slag act as lubricant, increasing fluidity and enabling smooth aesthetic finishes.
- Water Protect — very dense impermeable microstructure with maximum packing density protects against water penetration and ingress.
